Tennis Coaching
Headed by former pro tour competitor Steve Randjelovic, STARS Tennis’ experienced team coaches players of all levels and all ages.
Tennis coaching has many benefits. It helps to develop good technique, consistency, strength and fitness. More advanced players can learn about strategy and other ways to improve their game and win more matches.
Quality coaching at an early age can give your child the ability to play at a high standard for most of their life. The skills they learn as children will stay with them even if they decide to take a break from playing while trying out another sport or pursuing other interests.
Many of our students play competitively at local, state and national level. Our coaching helps them to play well through physical training, professional tennis analysis and sports psychology. Irrespective of their goals our coaches tailor lessons to students’ ability with the focus on improving all aspects of their game.
Coaching prices
Term lessons are held during the public school term. Often it’s a 10 week term, but can be 9 or 11 weeks. Terms are not run by the private schools term.
Private lessons
$50 – 30 minute session
$95 – 1 hour session
Semi-private
$30 per student – 30 minute session
$55 per student – 1 hour session
3 player group
$45 per student – 1 hour session
4 player group
$35 per student – 1 hour session

School holiday training, skills and match play squads
Weekdays during school holidays:
8am – 11am
$90 per session per day
Wet weather and cancellations
In the event of rained out lessons, we do a make-up session at some stage during the term or school holidays.
Fees are to be paid no later than the end of the first week of the term to guarantee your weekly time slot for the full public school term.
No make-up lessons, credits or refunds for any no shows.
In the event that a student is unable to attend their lesson only 1 make up lesson per term will be granted. If you need to cancel more than once, you may consider offering your lesson to friend or family member, as there will be no refund or make ups.

More about Steve Randjelovic
Steve has competed in 13 Grand slams: 7 Australian Opens, 4 Wimbledon Championships and 2 US Opens. He achieved a career high world ranking of 205 in singles and 163 in doubles. Steve was also Australian 18/U junior champion. He has over 20 years of coaching experience, having applied his coaching skills in several countries around the world. The STARS Tennis coaching team have taught more than 25 players that have achieved an ATP/WTA world ranking and the list is growing.
Professional Tennis Analysis
Involves an in-depth examination of a player’s game by Steve Randjelovic. Designed for aspiring professional tennis players.
What’s included:
- On court technical and dynamic footwork analysis
- Match play analysis
- Introduction to tennis specific sports psychology
- Fitness/physical analysis
- Report of overall findings
Cost: $600 for the 4 hour package

Tournament Coaching & Tennis Specific Sports Psychology
For players competing in national and international tournaments.
What’s included:
- Initial meeting prior to tournament day to discuss match preparation and sport psychology
- Observation of the match by a STARS Tennis qualified coach
- Post-match analysis and discussion
Cost: $600
Video analysis:
Provide video footage of a match and have Steve Randjelovic provide tactical, technical and dynamic analysis.
Cost: $100 per hour
